Metric Definition:

FBI-reported violent crime rate data for Centennial and comparable Colorado cities. Violent crime includes: Murder, manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery and aggravated assaults. Rate is the number of occurrences per 100,000 population. Eight City Average includes the eight cities on the Front Range with a population between 75,000 and 125,000, including Arvada, Boulder, Centennial, Greeley, Longmont, Pueblo, Thornton and Westminster.

Quarterly Performance:

The City of Centennial has had a lower violent crime rate than the Eight City Average, the National Average and its own internal benchmark goal for the last 6 years.
